I want to thank everyone who came to the Strand Theater Hohenwald and supported the cause. It was a great success. I am planning a concert at the Strand called "AN EVENING WITH KENNY" where I will do some John Denver songs and some Kenny Durham songs and some of my favorites I have enjoyed over the years. I will be doing a John Denver Tribute at the STRAND THEATER & Art Gallery to raise money for the STRAND RESTORATION DRIVE. You can purchase tickets at Memory Junction Antique Co, in Hohenwald, Lewis County Herald office in Hohenwald, Centerville Chamber of Commerce in Centerville Tn on the square. Tickets are $10.00, I will be joined by the four members of the Grinders Switch house band. Don't miss this event. I have joined a live radio show at 10:00 A M on Saturday mornings. "The Grinder Switch Music Hour". In Centerville, TN. Located in the Chamber of Commerce Building and Museum that houses a lot of Minnie Pearl, Del Reeves and other artist items. There is plenty of seating so come join us but if you can't come in person tune in to 96.7 FM. You can also access it on the WEB. IT'S A GREAT WAY TO START YOUR SATURDAY. I am now an affiliate of JUNCTION RECORDS and will be booked as "JUNCTION RECORDING ARTIST" KENNY DURHAM Working on a Video of GOOD-BYE-JOHN. A sample of it can be seen on youtube. THE PERFORMANCE WILL THEN BE ABLE TO BE PURCHASED. Terry Peevyhouse and Josh Watkins have joined me and we have put together a 4 song DVD demo for anyone that might be interested in booking us.They can look and listen to see if we would fit their venue I now have 2 different CD's for sell at my performances. If you have never been to the winery you are missing a great time. The atmosphere is great and also the people are fantastic that host there. I will also be at THE GRINDERS SWITCH FEST. On Sept 8th. I will be at the HAM FEST in Spring Hill Oct 6th, Doug Stone will be headlining the show. Also Jimmy Fortune who use to be with the Statler Brothers will be performing.
